Detention for driving over 170 km/h

KUWAIT: The interior ministry’s relations and security information department’s acting Director General Brig Tawheed Al-Kandari warned about strict punishments against speeding motorists. He said those who drive over 170 km/h will be detained for 48 hours and their cars will be impounded for endangering others and themselves. He said grave violations occur at weekends and more than 30 persons are detained. – Al-Qabas
