KUWAIT: As a part of its continuous efforts to encourage and initiate the culture of the health prevention, Health Assurance Hospitals Company (DHAMAN), in cooperation with the Embassy of India in Kuwait, organized a health check day for the Indian community at DHAMAN Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) in Hawally, Farwaniya and Dhajeej on Saturday.

On this occasion, DHAMAN CEO Thamer Arab said that this activity comes within the framework of community outreach carried out by DHAMAN with all segments of society, specifically the residents benefiting from the company's services in order to improve the healthcare indicators in Kuwait and support the efforts of the Ministry of Health in all fields, adding that similar activities will be organized in cooperation with other communities in Kuwait, in continuation of the prevention and community awareness activities carried out by DHAMAN.

Arab added that DHAMAN adopts the principle of prevention and community awareness as one of the most important pillars of the integrated Health Maintenance Organization (HMO), which the company follows as the first entity in the Middle East to offer its services according to this model by providing the health assurance certificate with an integrated network of healthcare centers, hospitals and various services such as laboratories, pharmacies, radiology, as well as others related to consultation, diagnosis, treatment and prevention to raise healthcare indicators in Kuwait.

Arab added that DHAMAN's engagement with article 18 residents and  their families is based on them being the primary segment for which the company will provide health services, indicating that activating the company's services will reflect positively on citizens, who will receive better services due to decreased traffic at health centers and hospitals of the Ministry of Health, in addition, reducing the pressure on the facilities of the Ministry of Health will lead to improving overall quality of healthcare services for both of citizens and Residents.

Arab lauded the cooperation of the Indian Embassy in Kuwait with DHAMAN and their response to the Company's initiative to desire to ensure the organize the Health Check Day for the Indian Community, and their encouragement of members of the community to participate in this activity.

The Health Check Day witnessed a large turnout from the Indian Community in Kuwait to take advantage of this service, which included medical examinations, blood tests and other services. The participants commended the level of services provided and the efficiency of the medical staff, expressing appreciation to DHAMAN centers for the efforts to achieve success in this health activity.
