KUWAIT: Two policemen were beaten by two brothers who were in an abnormal condition in Saad Al-Abdullah. Both were arrested and charged with drunkenness and attacking policemen on duty.

Syrian man swindled

A Egyptian man promised a Syrian national that he can get a visa for his wife and children for KD 3,500. The man took the money and disappeared, however, leading the Syrian national to file a complaint at Jahra police station.

Apartment robbed

Ahmadi detectives are looking for a thief who broke into an apartment and stole seven passports, KD 4,000 in cash and five gold bracelets. The apartment is located in Fintas. Police are working on the case.

Search for offender

A female citizen accused a man of insulting her when he ran into her accidently in Jabriya, and lodged a complaint at the police station. She told police she had earlier disputes with the man. The woman gave police the man's phone number. The man was contacted and asked to go to the police station, but he refused. Detectives were then ordered to arrest him.

Couple assaulted

A citizen called police and told them that three persons he knows stopped and pulled him out of his car in Maidan Hawally then beat him in front of his wife, who was verbally insulted. The trio then fled. Hawally detectives were asked to arrest the suspects.

Ex-wife charged

A citizen accused his ex-wife of damaging his car, smashing its windows, and stealing personal belongings, according to his complaint at Qairawan police station. He told police that his ex-wife threatened to harm him due to earlier disputes. The woman will be questioned about the charges.

Account hacked

A man complained against a 'hacker' who withdrew KD 1,000 from his bank account. The hacker bought goods from a site and paid KD 1,000 through the victim's account. Police are investigating.

Fight

Hawally police brought a fight that broke out at a computer store under control. A customer wanted to return a computer, but the salesman refused to refund the money. The citizen had bought the computer a week earlier and wanted to return it, but an argument ensued that evolved into exchanging blows, and the citizen destroyed some computer sets in the store.
