KUWAIT: Astronomer Khaled Abdullah Al-Jamaan said that the current dusty weather is part of a climatic condition locally known as 'Bawareh.' During that season, northerly and northwesterly winds occasionally blow, causing the rise of dust during daytime, before it subsides by night. Jamaan added that Bawareh winds usually reduce the temperature during the day because the dust blocks the sunrays. This season often lasts until the end of July, he pointed out.
