KUWAIT: Minister of Education Dr Ali Al-Mudhaf meets US Ambassador to Kuwait Alina Romanowski. - KUNA

KUWAIT: Minister of Education Dr Ali Al-Mudhaf met on Tuesday with US Ambassador to Kuwait Alina Romanowski to discuss ways of bolstering cooperation between the two countries on the educational level. The talks also dealt with cooperation to enhance the English curriculums and ways of teaching them by the English Assistance Programs, through arranging visits for specialized American lecturers, said the ministry in a statement.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed different ways of returning to schools and training courses amid the spread of the coronavirus, it added. The US ambassador appreciated the efforts of the Kuwaiti minister and his support for the PCELT program which is supervised by AMIDEAST institute and the US Embassy in Kuwait, it noted. - KUNA
