KUWAIT: The prosecution decided to jail an Egyptian in a state security offense and insulting the Amir on twitter. A security source said state security detectives arrested an Egyptian who made insulting tweets to HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah and the late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. The man also reportedly publishing photos of executed Iraqi strongman Saddam Hussain, hurting the feelings of Kuwaiti citizens. The suspect denied the tweets and claimed his account was hacked, but detectives found no evidence of hacking. The suspect made the tweets in hopes of being deported without trial because he is facing other criminal cases for swindling and fraud.

Heroin-dealerHeroin dealer busted

An Asian was arrested at his home with two kilograms of pure heroin and 250 shabu capsules (methamphetamine). An undercover agent made a deal with the suspect to buy 250 grams of heroin for KD 6,500, and the arrest was made during the exchange. The estimated value of the confiscated heroin is KD 70,000. The man was sent for investigation.

Security guard stabbed

A security guard at an exchange company accused his colleague of stabbing him and robbing the company. A security source said that the guard came out screaming and asked a police patrol for help. He told them that a Bangladeshi stabbed his colleague, and took the money in the store. The suspect was later arrested.

634 liquor bottles

Detectives have arrested two Indians in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh with 634 liquor bottles. They suspects were sent to concerned authorities.

Suicide attempt

A police officer and some patrons foiled an attempt of a citizen to commit suicide by throwing himself from a height at the ministry complex. A security source said the young man suffers from Psychological problems and has a file at the hospital. The motives were not known.
