KUWAIT: The Embassy of Japan held a gathering party with Japan Karate Association (JKA) Kuwait at the Ambassador's residence. In his opening remarks, His Excellency Ambassador of Japan to Kuwait, Morino Yasunari congratulated JKA Kuwait on having the training camp and championship this year, after a long suspension due to the pandemic.

Yasunari also appreciated the cooperation between OKUMA Koichiro, a Karate instructor and the JKA HQ and JKA Kuwait. He also expressed his delight on seeing many Karate players in Kuwait, especially from the younger generation, who are dedicated to practicing the sport which originated in Japan.

Ali Khuraibat, General Manager of JKA Kuwait, mentioned in his speech that Karate is not a martial art for fighting with others but for fighting with the negativity in oneself, adding that Karate trainings help to improve the calmness in one's mind as well as the self-discipline.
