KUWAIT: The Public Authority for Minors Affairs has announced that it has signed a cooperation protocol with the Endowment ministry with regard to organizing activities and programs for those under the care of minors' affairs.

Acting director of the Authority, Hamad Al-Barjas said during a press conference after the signing the protocol: "The provisions of the protocol include the organization of various cultural, educational and religious programs for those under the care, commensurate with their needs and age groups, as well as contributing and participating in organizing activities for the charitable events under the supervision of the Authority."

"The Authority is keen to strengthen the partnership in providing services with the entities related to its work as the Authority aims to cooperate with many government agencies through cyber connectivity and intensify efforts to strengthen institutional partnership," he added.

On his part, acting undersecretary of the Endowment ministry, Muhammed Al-Mutairi lauded the cooperation between the Authority and the ministry in providing a variety of programs for those under care.

"Among the programs covered by the agreement are the young readers' program - the curriculum Project, and the holy Quran memorization competition program during the month of Ramadan, as well as holding special programs for minors under care and their families, including Quran memorization competitions and honoring the ideal mother," he added.
