KUWAIT: The Environment Public Authority (EPA) said yesterday that they did not ask any entity to conduct examination on the cause of dead fish reported recently in Kuwait’s Bay, noting that they are doing their examination in this regard at their own laboratories.

EPA added in a statement to the press that they would announce the results of their examination to the public once the results are fully completed, and in accordance with approved environment standard protocols.

The authority also lauded all scientific and research institutes that they have signed agreements with, including Kuwait University and the Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research. EPA renewed its commitment to take all necessary measures to maintain the safety of the environment, according to the guidelines of the Supreme Environment Council in this regard. —KUNA
