KUWAIT: Chairwoman of Tomooh Club Board Rihab Buresli and Secretary General Sadiqa Al-Ansari participated in the equal opportunity between the two genders in the sports field seminar that was organized by the Olympic Council of Asia in Cooperation with Bahrain Olympic Committee and International Olympic Committee in Bahrain.

Several senior sports leaders attended the meeting including President of Public Authority for Sport, Bahrain's Olympic Committee President HH Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Jordan's Olympic Committee President Prince Faisal bin Al-Hussein, Acting President of Olympic Council of Asia Raja Singh, Executive Director of OCA Hussein Al-Mussallam, BOC member Sheikha Hayat Al-Khalifa, along with 41 other leaders from 41 countries. Participants listened to a statement online from IOC president Thomas Bach.

Buresli said the seminar's topics dealt with the roles of National Olympic Committee in augmenting equality between the two genders to ensure the participation of the woman in all fields - such as membership in Olympic Committees boards, official administrations in clubs and federations and their administrative and technical programs. Buresli thanked OCA and BOC and lauded the role of OCA in supporting equality between genders.
