KUWAIT: The Manpower Public Authority is currently working on finding a mechanism to apply the exit documentation system for expatriate workers in the private sector who plan to travel outside.

The system requires workers to obtain written permissions from their superiors and related human resources departments before they can travel for any reason.

The manpower authority is serious about plans to apply the system as soon as possible, Acting Director General Ahmad Al-Mousa said, adding that the system is already applied in the public sector as well as in the private sector in some other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. — Al-Rai
