falkenKUWAIT: AUTO1-Tires (Al-Ghannam Tires Co), the exclusive distributor for Falken Tires in Kuwait since 1985 recently concluded the 2015 annual dealer summit, at the Crowne Plaza that was attended by the entire fraternity of FALKEN channel partners in Kuwait and the principles led by Takashi Adachi, Managing Director - Sumitomo Rubbers Middle East (SRME).

The highlight of course, in addition to product and technical updates, was the official announcement on FALKEN's new brand identity that aimed at delivering the brand's core positioning in terms of its high quality products and its strong association with youth & motorsports.

The event proceedings officially began with a short and crisp welcome note by S Jaishankar, Vice President - AUTO1-Tires, Kuwait; followed by a video presentation on AUTO1.

The Chief Guest of the event Takashi Adachi, Managing Director-SRME addressed the gathering and mentioned that FALKEN was extremely pleased to be associated with AUTO1-Tires over the years and greatly appreciated their efforts in establishing FALKEN as a top tier tire brand. He stated, "as a part of our ongoing efforts to continuously outperform our competition, we have redefined and renewed our brand identity which will reflect the brands desire to engage with the younger generation in Kuwait, for which we are quite positive & excited."

Angelo Shelton Nigli, Sales Manager-SRME (Kuwait, Levant & African Region), introduced the new brand identity for FALKEN. The brand logo sported with the new tag line "ON THE PULSE" reflecting the brand's aspiration to stay relevant in an ever changing landscape, allowing the brand to always be aligned with the present and staying ahead in the future. The new brand identity would focus towards intense engagement with motorsports and youth related activities on global, regional and specific markets, to build stronger connection with fans, partners and consumers.

The new brand's values will continue to pursue development of premium high quality products like the FK453's in the passenger car segment under the title 'From Racetrack to Road'; which originated in the racetracks.

N S Suresh, President-AUTO1 Tires Global Business, delivered the key note address. He was quite emphatic on the importance of such dealer meets that would enable exchange of key information which would help FALKEN channel partners to face the emerging challenges and industry dynamics. He also greatly appreciated every single person in the network for their efforts in making FALKEN a leading brand in Kuwait. Lastly he encouraged all channel partners to take advantage of the attractive dealer scheme that was announced during the evening and urged their continued earnest support and patronage both to Falken and AUTO1.
