KUWAIT: Farwaniya police arrested a major drug dealer who attempted to attack them, resisted arrest and attempted to run them over, but his attempts failed. He will be sent to the Drugs Control General Department. Police learned about a bedoon man nicknamed "Mercurial Jahrawi", who was known to trade in drugs in Farwaniya governorate. The suspect was then placed under surveillance. Eight bags of shabu, hashish and drugs paraphernalia were found with him.

Smuggling foiled

A Saudi man failed to smuggle 800 cartons of cigarettes in his car as Nuwaiseeb customs officers discovered the stash. The cigarettes have an estimated value of KD 5,600. The suspect and the contraband were sent to concerned authorities.

Fugitive caught

Jahra police arrested a citizen and found out that he is wanted on 10 money-related cases after he was reported missing by his family. Police were able to locate him in a café in industrial Jahra and arrested him.
