A security source said the citizen confessed that she took advantage of being veiled, which made it difficult to identify her, and the fact that women are not searched by guards even if the alarms go off. The source said that several complaints received by Farwaniya detectives were similar - the theft of items from several stores, and when the complaints reached 40, detectives reviewed the cameras in the stores, which revealed that a woman entered stores and stole expensive items by placing them within her clothes. The woman was followed to her car and was identified through the license plate number and arrested.
