KUWAIT: Two incidents of fire were reported on Tuesday, one occurred in a building in Fintas and the second in a store in Farwaniya. The Kuwait Fire Force teams rushed to the scenes and brought the blazes under control.

"The central command received information on Tuesday morning that a fire broke out in a building in Fintas. Firefighters from Qurain and Mangaf stations were dispatched to the scene and on arrival, the team found that the fire erupted on the sixth floor of the building. Four people were trapped inside the building who were rescued and sent to medical emergency. The fire did not result in any casualties," the KFF public relations department said.

On receiving a tip regarding the fire in Farwaniya, fire squads from Farwaniya and Ardhiya and search and rescue units were sent to the scene. The team evacuated the building immediately. The fire appeared to have erupted on the ground floor of the building inside a hotel. The blaze was successfully extinguished and one person was sent to the medical emergency who suffered from suffocation," the KFF explained.
