Fire kills girl in Al-Oyoun

KUWAIT: A picture taken from inside the house in Al-Oyoun after the fire was extinguished.

KUWAIT: A girl died while her six sisters were injured in a fire reported in Al-Oyoun district of Jahra, a statement by the Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) said. Occupational Jahra and Jahra fire stations responded to an emergency the call, and firemen rescued seven people who were trapped inside the house, but one of them lost her life. A fireman was injured during the rescue and was rushed to hospital. KFSD Director General Lt Gen Khalid Al-Mikrad visited the injured fireman Ahmad Buftain at Jahra Hospital.
