Firefighters put out Amghara building blaze

Firemen take a short break before resuming their duties

KUWAIT: Firemen tackled a blaze which erupted in a building at the industrial area of Amghara, west of Kuwait City yesterday, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) said. According to initial reports, the fire had engulfed the building, which spanned an area of 1,000 sq/m. A total of five fire department squads were dispatched to the site after the fire was reported. No injuries were reported.
