KUWAIT: Seven Indian men who were fishing near Kubbar Island were surprised when they found 50 pieces of hashish in their fishing nets. They said the place where the drugs were found was close to the route of Iranian boats that bring goods to Kuwait. The drugs were found in two heavyweight bags, and each contained several pieces of hashish. The men informed their sponsor of their find, and the Kuwaiti man called police. Security officers went to the area and collected the two bags. The bags were sent to the Drugs Control General Department. Investigations are underway.

Motorcyclist hurt

A delivery man was run over in Fahad Al-Ahmad, while the driver escaped. The delivery man was on his way to deliver an order using a motorcycle, when he was hit and then run over. He was taken to Adan Hospital for treatment. Ahmadi detectives are working on the case.

Thieves caught

Criminal detectives arrested a 3-member gang, containing one expatriate and two bedoons, who used knives and air rifles during their crimes. The three confessed that they robbed camps at knife and gun points in several areas. Their houses were searched and many stolen items were found there. They said some of the items were already sold in the used items market. One of the suspects was asked to call person who bought the items despite knowing they were stolen, and he was arrested in a set up. Several electric generators were found in his house.

Reckless driver

A reckless driver hit an Indian man's car in Sabah Al-Salam. The Indian went to the police station and told them that someone who was driving recklessly hit his car before escaping. Authorities are looking for the culprit. Separately, Jahra police stopped a reckless driving session by a group of men in Saad Al-Abdallah.
