KUWAIT: Chairman of the Kuwaiti Fishermen Union Thaher Al-Suwayyan welcomed the decision to cut part of the tailfins of imported fish to mark them, and stressed that many consumers also share the same opinion as this helps fight cheating and commercial fraud. Suwayyan called for more control in local markets to fine violators displaying imported fish for sale without cutting the fins.
