KUWAIT: The Public Authority for Manpower issued a circular to specify cases that labor relations departments and their units are not allowed to approve visa transfer requests that come through labor disputes’ offices.
These cases are:
* In case the contract has a set period and is still valid, and there was no evidence on a violation by the employer.
* Teachers on special contracts with private schools during the school year.
* In case three years did not elapse on laborers brought in with work permits, not provided that a worker had not committed a violation and the employer insists that the laborer continues working for him.
* Laborers on government contracts.
* In case the laborer violated the labor law. – Al-Anbaa
