flydubaiKUWAIT: Dubai-based flydubai will operate up to 17 flights a day between Kuwait and Dubai between 23 and 29 February. The 26 extra flights added to the schedule will accommodate the increase in passenger numbers between the two cities during Kuwait's 55th National and Liberation Day Holiday.

The carrier, which has been operating from the convenient Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Terminal in Kuwait since 2013, offers Kuwaiti citizens and well-wishers from the UAE a very flexible flight schedule to join the country's celebrations and a choice to choose to fly either from Dubai International Airport (DXB) in the heart of the city or from the newest gateway to Dubai, Al-Maktoum International Airport (DWC).

Ghaith Al-Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer of flydubai, said: "We congratulate our brothers in Kuwait on the occasion of the country's National and Liberation Day, a very dear occasion to our hearts and celebrated by everyone in the GCC and the region and not only in Kuwait. Our heartfelt wishes to the leadership and the people of the country for more progress, peace and prosperity."

flydubai's operations from the dedicated Sheikh Saad Al Abdullah Terminal offers passengers faster check-in services, shortened queuing time at the immigration desks and a more personalised flying experience. Passengers are advised to factor in ample time to reach the airport and complete their check-in procedure to avoid the last minute rush as thousands of people gear up to travel ahead of one of the busiest weekends for travel. Passengers are also reminded to book their baggage allowances in advance when travelling in Economy.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Senior Vice President, Commercial (GCC, Subcontinent and Africa) for flydubai, said: "Kuwait is an important market for flydubai and we remain dedicated to offering passengers from Kuwait more options to travel between the two countries whether in Business or Economy Class. Our high-quality service, convenient travel schedule, great value for money and the option to choose to fly to two airports in Dubai continues to be popular with our passengers."

flydubai is offering special fares on select flights during this period. Booking is now open on all flydubai booking channels.

Flights between Dubai and Kuwait can be purchased from flydubai's website (www.flydubai.com), through its local office (+965 22 41 44 00) and accredited travel agents. flydubai also offers visa facilitation services to passengers travelling to the UAE.
