KUWAIT: Ooredoo Kuwait announced its strategic partnership of the Flying Start Triathlon for the third year in a row at a press conference held yesterday at its headquarters in Kuwait City as a testament to its support of Kuwaiti youth and athletes.


Moreover, Corporate Social Responsibility and Sponsorship Manager at Ooredoo Kuwait Mohammad Mirza and General Manager at Provision Sports Management Ahmad Al Majed, joined the Nagham Al Sabah radio show with presenters Talal Malik and Nouf A lSultan in Marina FM. Mirza and Al Majid talked about the triathlon that will take place during the weekend of October 25th and 26th at Green Island. The activities will be launched on October 25th and will include exciting activities such as swimming, running and biking. They highlighted the important role that this athletic event plays in spreading the sports culture that encourages sportsmanship and ethical sports culture.




Commenting on this, Corporate Communications Senior Director at Ooredoo Kuwait Mijbil Al Ayoub said: "This strategic partnership goes in tandem with our belief in supporting youth initiatives and athletes in Kuwait. Al Ayoub added: "We are proud to announce that Ooredoo Kuwait's brand ambassador triathlete Najla Al-Jeraiwi, that recently won first place in the Abu Dhabi World Triathlon which was held in Abu Dhabi, will be participating in this year's Flying Start Triathlon."




Also commenting on this partnership, General Manager at Provision Sport Management, Ahmad AlMajed said: "We consider the triathlon to be the biggest races in the Middle East, and our goal today is to create a new sports culture built on ethics, discipline and sportsmanship. We are expecting 600 participants this year from all over the world to join us in the twelfth edition of the Triathlon.
