Food safety crackdowns in four areas

KUWAIT: An inspection campaign was launched by inspectors from the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition in Farwaniya, Jleeb Al-Shuyiukh, Khaitan and Ardhiya industrial area, resulted in closing down eight food outlets and filing several citations. The authority explained in a statement that the citations were issued for violations that included hiring laborers who do not hold health certificates or expired ones, cleaning violations, and violating hygiene conditions.
