KUWAIT: Foreign Minister and Acting Information Minister Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Mohammad Al-Sabah offered condolences yesterday to the government and people of France for the passing away of former President Valery Giscard d'Estaing.

Sheikh Dr Ahmad, in an obituary at France's Embassy in Kuwait, expressed heartfelt condolences for death of d'Estaing and paid tribute for his economic and development contributions to France. He also said the deceased also contributed to further boosting relations between France and Kuwait. - KUNA
