KUWAIT: A bedoon and a female citizen were arrested for forging a medical report claiming that the bedoon, who has security restrictions against him, has cancer, so he could get a passport and travel abroad for treatment.

7 Kuwaitis arrested

Seven citizens were arrested in Qadsiya for fighting, said security sources, noting that the fight was over old grievances.

Vehicle missing

Guards at MoI's impoundment garage in Amghara reported that unidentified robbers managed to steal a vehicle from the garage. They said that the robbery was discovered when the owner paid the fines and came to retrieve his vehicle, only to find it missing.

Masked men with cleavers

A citizen reported that three masked men carrying cleavers barged into his house in Saad Al-Abdullah. They assaulted his daughter and stole her mobile phone.

Homebrewed liquor

Ahmadi detectives arrested three Asians selling homebrewed liquor, using a minibus that belongs to a laundry company they work for.

Woman attacked

A female citizen reported that after rejecting his calls, someone she knows attacked her while she was alone in a chalet. However, the alleged suspect fled the scene when police arrived.

Fire at Imam School

A fire broke out at Imam Malek secondary school for boys in Mubarak Al-Kabeer, said security sources, noting that the school had to be evacuated while firemen fought the blaze. They found the fire started in a ventilation fan.

Kuwaiti gang nabbed

A five-member gang of Kuwaitis was arrested for forging cheques to steal money from major companies and establishments. Security sources noted that the suspects confessed that their leader was based in Jordan and that they got a 30 percent commission for each operation.
