KUWAIT: Kuwaiti citizen Faleh Al-Azmi is welcomed at Kuwait airport yesterday. - KUNA

KUWAIT: Kuwaiti citizen Faleh Al-Azmi, who was released by Iranian authorities, has returned home and is in good condition, Assistant Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Sami Al-Hamad said yesterday. Kuwaiti diplomats received Azmi yesterday morning following his release, Hamad told reporters at Kuwait airport.

The foreign ministry exerted every possible effort to secure the release of Azmi, who was held in captivity for months, he said. Azmi was arrested in September when he mistakenly entered a military zone on his way back to Kuwait from Turkey. - KUNA
