KUWAIT: Bill Gates will visit Kuwait on Dec 7 at the invitation of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to participate in a dialogue session with Kuwaiti youth. Gates is one of the founders of Microsoft, the company that revolutionized computer industry. He also co-chairs the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which aims at improving quality of life of people in developing countries, in addition to focusing on supporting initiatives to improve global health and education

Dr Yusuf Hamad Al-Ibrahim, an advisor at the Amiri Diwan, said Monday the diwan will be organizing the dialogue session in which Gates would be engaged in a dialogue with Kuwaiti youth over "youth and international development". The dialogue session is within HH the Amir's patronage of youth activities and the development of their skills, Ibrahim told KUNA. He said the session would inspire the youth on the importance of development and voluntary action. - KUNA
