KUWAIT: The government plans to urge the parliament to discuss three main issues during monthly two-hour discussions it had proposed to discuss certain issues, well-informed sources said. Speaking on the condition of anonymity, the sources explained that the government intends to request discussing citizens' employment in both the public and private sectors and replacing expat employees with citizens in a bid to reduce unemployment rates - a process commonly known as jobs' 'Kuwaitization'.

"The government will also propose discussing road repairs, future plans to resolve traffic congestions and the railway project execution," the sources said. The sources added that the third topic the government seeks to discuss is its plans to execute the 2035 development plan. "Those discussions will start in April," the sources stressed.
