KUWAIT: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Bader Al-Otaibi visited the Grand Mosque on Sunday to review the latest preparations for the resumption of prayers during the blessed month of Ramadan. "The visit to the mosque comes on the instruction of Minister Abdulaziz Al-Majed and the keenness of the ministry to organize matters for the advent of the holy month and prepare the best atmosphere to perform tarawih and qiyam prayers," Otaibi said during a press conference.

"This year will be different due to the return of regular prayers in mosques after the COVID pandemic, which increases the responsibility on us, and hopefully we will be ready to provide all the needs of worshippers," he added. Otaibi reiterated all efforts are being exerted to ensure the safety and readiness of the mosque to welcome the holy month.
