KUWAIT: Greek minister for development and investment Adonis Georgiadis and his delegation visited Kuwait University's Sabah Al-Salem University City and its colleges on Monday for a detailed explanation about new buildings in the university. Dean of the College of Literature Dr Abdulhadi Al-Ajmi said: "This visit is important for the university's administration, which reflects its interest in visitors from abroad, as foreign visits are important for academic, scientific and cultural understanding."

Dr Ajmi showed the Greek delegation part of the archaeological holdings of the Department of History at Kuwait University. Georgiadis praised the university complex. "This complex is a very elegant educational model," he said, noting the great organization of the buildings and ease of movement between the buildings of the faculties, departments and classrooms.

"The interest of the Kuwaiti authorities in the education system is the best guarantee for the future of the Kuwaiti society and its children," he said. Dr Ajmi presented mementos to Georgiadis and his delegation.
