Gulf Bank: ‘Mission 1200’ gains 10 million views

KUWAIT: As part of its efforts to provide the best services and benefits to customers, Gulf Bank launched its Ramadan marketing campaign “Ready? Transfer!” which continues to garner millions of views daily – attracting customers who want to benefit from the ‘Get Cash in A Flash’ offer, which includes a cash gift of up to KD 1,200.

Gulf Bank’s Deputy General Manager of Consumer Banking, Najla Al-Essa, commented: “Gulf Bank has always been, and will continue to be part of the community, and this is the bank’s promise and motto. This year’s Ramadan TVC “Mission 1200,” was a testament of the special relationship that the bank has with its customers –exceeding 10 million views throughout various social media channels, in addition to receiving over 30 million impressions and 234,000 competition engagements, following its launch on the second week of Ramadan.”

Al-Essa added: “As usual, we are keen to annually achieve marketing excellence during the holy month of Ramadan, and for this reason, this year’s marketing idea was no exception, and was launched to the moon. The idea was inspired by the sighting of the crescent during Ramadan, with the set representing a spacecraft on the moon, and a script that highlights the amazing salary transfer offer from Gulf Bank.”

Al-Essa pointed that the remarkable success of “Mission 1200” is due to the great engagement and impressions received by the audience, in addition to its originality in terms of content and messaging. Not only did “Mission 1200” win the admiration of viewers due to its humorous and light approach, as it also consisted of a great line-up of well-known and beloved Kuwaiti actors of whom include: Bilal Al-Shami, Ahmed Al-Aounan, Imad Al-Akari, Hammoud Al-Failakawi, and Reem Al-Shammari. She added: “The surprises and gifts from Gulf Bank during the holy month of Ramadan did not stop there, as we also launched three competitions on Gulf Bank’s Instagram account, so that followers can receive valuable prizes.”

She continued: “We were keen to link the prizes to the “Mission 1200” marketing campaign, as well as the salary transfer offer, which includes receiving a cash gift of up to KD 1,200. Three winners received prizes worth KD 1,200, in addition to ten tickets to attend the theatrical play “To The Moon”, that is set to launch in Eid Al-Fitr.
