KUWAIT: The Guinness World Records cited Dana cash prize, offered by the Gulf Bank of Kuwait, as the world’s largest award for a bank account.

The award, valued at KD 1 million (nearly $3.259 million), is far bigger than the world’s previous largest cash prize of $2 million, Guinness World Records arbiter Hoda Khashab said on Thursday.

Gulf Bank has met all requirements needed for citation as record breaker, she said, noting that Kuwait set 35-40 Guinness records so far. —KUNA
