KUWAIT: Hawally Governor and Acting Capital Governor Ali Al-Asfar said that the country's health sector needed more support from various quarters to ensure better health security to the people. "There should be enhanced cooperation between the concerned authorities to remove any possible impediments in offering health services to the people," he said. The governor was speaking after receiving the new Hawally health zone director Dr Abdelaziz Al-Farhoud.

Al-Asfar said that the role of the private sector in the governorate has become all the more important today in maintaining the health security of citizens and residents, particularly following the pandemic around the world.
