KUWAIT: Health Minister Sheikh Dr Basel Al-Sabah reasserted that health fees for expats are being reassessed as they were imposed based upon a government proposal not a parliamentary one. Commenting on a study conducted by the health ministry to determine the pros and cons of the new fee regime, Sheikh Basel said a special committee had been formed to compare prices between public and private sector healthcare facilities. The minister added that the new fees will be reassessed according to feedback from various hospitals and polyclinics. - A Saleh
