KUWAIT: Rain drenched various areas across Kuwait yesterday with heavy downpours throughout the day. Patches of flooding appeared in Shuwaikh, Farwaniya, Jleeb and other areas in the south.

Scattered showers and cloudy skies are expected to continue through the weekend, according to the Kuwait Meteorological Center. The rain affected the flow of traffic yesterday.

Meanwhile, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) warned residents to take caution during the rainy weather.
