KUWAIT: The Jahra municipality emergency team warned a house owner and asked him to remove a telecommunication tower on top of his house and gave him one week to do so. They said the municipality will remove the tower, which was erected illegally, if he does not. Surrounding houses owners asked the municipality to take action because the tower is dangerous, and the municipality acted accordingly.

Hospital fire

Smoke and odor at Razi Hospital prompted officials to call the fire department. Industrial Shuwaikh and Sulaibkhat fire centers responded. There was no fire, and the smell was due to faulty wiring in the air-conditioning system. Technicians dealt with the problem. Separately, a fire broke out in the basement of a house in Andalus, and Sulaibkhat fire center responded. The fire was in car spare parts and paints store. It was put out without injuries.

Road project

Farwaniya municipality emergency team removed obstacles in Andalus and Nahda near Fifth Ring Road to hand over the site to the ministry of public works to develop the road. Boats, cars, trees, fences and gypsum are among the things removed.
