Good morning dear and honorable brothers and sisters, and I wish you happy, joyful and blessed days to come. In this article, I would like all of you to share with me a dream for things that I consider extraordinary to see happen in Kuwait, but we wish one day our dreams can become a reality. Nothing is impossible in this world as long as there is a will, but the problem is that many people do not see the tool of punishment, becoming careless in the process. Let us start dreaming...

I wish one day to see the minister and his undersecretaries start work before employees at 7:00 am.

I wish to see many government employees have their breakfast at home instead of having it at work as they are delaying the business of hundreds of clients.

I wish all service ministries remain open till the end of the day, rather than closing at 12:00 pm. When you go to the social affairs ministry or traffic department at 11:50 am, you are often met with the 'we are closed' excuse and told to come back the following day!

I wish expats are treated the same way as citizens in the state's different departments.

I wish one day I never hear jokes or mocking against certain nationalities, similar to what is happening in many local plays where some actors put down a certain nationality to make the audience laugh. I swear that if a Kuwaiti was to be talked about negatively in any play or movie in any country, diplomatic relations might be severed and an apology would have to be submitted. Let us respect all nationalities and treat them well.

I wish that people would stop spraying water on each other as well as throwing water balloons during the national celebrations thus wasting and lavishly playing with Allah's bounty, whereas millions are dying all over the world because they do not have access to a drop of clean water to drink.

I wish to see sponsors celebrate their workers' birthdays and special occasions and share their joy, help them and draw a smile on their kids' faces by buying them gifts and sending them back home, so that the workers can feel they are being treated as part of the family instead of isolating them.

I wish one day a foreign worker can come to Kuwait being a sponsor himself, instead of some being treated as slaves or imprisoned behind the doors of the sponsor's house.

I wish to see that our Pakistani brothers are able to bring their families here so that they can feel close to each other. Pakistan is one of the great countries which has assisted the Saudi-led coalition and has never hesitated to offer all sorts of assistance when needed. It is now time to be grateful.

I wish to see the streets without so many Asian cleaning workers when many people realize that when you love your country, you should not make it dirty.

I wish one day to see some of the apartment buildings are managed by Allah-fearing janitors (haris), who would accept any tip the tenant may offer instead of taking advantage of the emergency situation the tenant might be in.

The dreams are now over, hoping to wake up one day and all these dreams have become a reality.
