KUWAIT: Algonquin College - Kuwait, a branch campus of Canada's Algonquin College, welcomed the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sibi George and his accompanying delegation to its campus in Saad Al-Abdullah recently. Hosting the delegation were Algonquin College - Kuwait's Chairman of the Board of Trustees Saud Abulaziz Jafar along with the administrative team who accompanied the visitors on a tour of the college and inspected its various facilities.

On this occasion, the educational situation of the Indian community in the country was discussed, and Jafar expressed the college's readiness and keenness to extend its cooperation with the Cultural Office of the Indian Embassy in Kuwait for the benefit of the students and children of the Indian community by facilitating the process of completing their studies at the College.

Jafar also stated "We will ascend into the galaxy of private colleges and enrich the educational options available to high school graduates, particularly through our diverse disciplines and majors." Jafar added, "AC-Kuwait is the first Canadian college in Kuwait. The campus location in Saad Al-Abdulla will contribute to Kuwait's continuing development and will be an effective community partner. This college is a product of collaboration and cooperation and we commend Algonquin College - Ottawa for its phenomenal support."

Registration at Algonquin College - Kuwait is ongoing and will remain open until September 2021. In the upcoming academic year (2021-2022), the college will offer a comprehensive English and Academic Foundations Program and diploma programs in the fields of Business Administration and Advanced Technology (IT).
