KUWAIT: A man who was deported out of Kuwait before was arrested in Jaber Al-Ali with possession of a forged passport. The Indian man's true identity was discovered after he was fingerprinted. He was sent to criminal detectives to find out how he reentered Kuwait, and find out if he has any accomplices.

Driver stabbed

Two thieves stabbed an Asian driver in the shoulder in Saad Al-Abdallah. Police went to the area and sent the driver to hospital. Investigations are ongoing in search for the suspects who face attempted murder charges.

Confusion

Several people called interior ministry operations to report seeing a group of people dressed in black marching towards the Abdali border crossing. Judging from the way they looked and acted, the callers feared that the group could be Islamic militants. Police later discovered that the group were intending to cross to Iraq in order to visit the Karbala City to attend the Arba'een event. There were 12 persons, most of whom belong to one family. Police told them that such gatherings are only allowed after taking a license from interior ministry, so they went back to their cars and returned to their homes.

Fights

A man was hospitalized with a broken nose following a fight in Mahboula. He pressed charges against his foe afterwards. A case was filed for investigations. Separately, a man sustained several broken bones in a 3-on-1 attack reported in Abu Hlaifa. The man reported the case to local police, and gave officers a medical report showing his injuries.
