KUWAIT: Interior
Ministry Undersecretary Lt Gen Essam Al-Naham accompanied by National Guard
Undersecretary Lt Gen Hashem Al-Rafae, Interior Assistant Undersecretary for
Traffic Affairs and Operations Maj Gen Jamal Al-Sayegh, Assistant
Undersecretary for Border Affairs Maj Gen Mansour Al-Awadhi, Assistant
Undersecretary for Border Security Affairs Maj Gen Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf
Al-Sabah and Director General for Border Security Brig Iyad Al-Haddad, held a tour
of several border outlets in the north and south of the country to check their
readiness during the holidays.

Naham,
accompanied by senior interior ministry officials, also visited the southern
and central areas' protection department as well as all security gates leading
to oil facilities. He also checked the performance mechanism at Shuaiba and
Abdullah ports, as well as Ahmadi.

Meanwhile, Kuwait
Fire Service Directorate's (KFSD) Director General Lt Gen Khaled Al-Mekrad,
accompanied by Deputy Director General for Firefighting Affairs Maj Gen Jamal
Al-Bulaihees and Public Relations Director Brig Khalil Al-Amir, toured several
fire stations and conveyed greetings of Deputy Premier and State Minister for
Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh to firemen on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr.
