Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa extended condolences over the passing away of HH the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday. According to a court statement carried by the Omani News Agency (ONA), Sultan Haitham deemed the late Amir one of the Arab world’s prominent leaders, who worked for the progress and prosperity of both Arab and Muslim nations, as well as his country.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Al-Sudani said in a tweet: “We extend our deepest condolences to Kuwait and the government and people, on the passing of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.” “We ask Allah to bestow mercy upon him, and to inspire patience and solace on his family, relatives, and all the brotherly Kuwaiti people,” he said.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi expressed condolences to Kuwait leadership and people for passing away of Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on Saturday. Raisi extended condolences to HH the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Al-Sabah Family and Kuwaiti people. Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian extended condolences to the Kuwaiti government and people over the death of Sheikh Nawaf.

India

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deepest condolences to Kuwait over the passing away of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. “Deeply saddened to learn about the unfortunate demise of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. We convey our deepest condolences to the Royal family, the leadership and the people of Kuwait,” the prime minister noted in his X account (formerly Twitter) on Saturday. Meanwhile, the government of India decided to observe one day's state mourning On Sunday throughout India as a mark of respect to the departed soul. "The national flag will be flown at half-mast throughout India on all buildings where it is flown regularly and there will be no official entertainment on the day," the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs said in a statement.

Lebanon

Lebanon declared official mourning for the death of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. Egypt
