BASRA: Iraq qualified on Monday for the final of the 25th edition of the Arabian Gulf Cup (Khaleeji Zain 25) after defeating Qatar 2-1 in the semifinal. The first half witnessed all the goals, as Iraq led with a goal by Ibrahim Bayish in the 19th minute, then Qatar scored the equalizer in the 28th minute through Amr Siraj, while Iraqi player Ayman Hussein decided his team's qualification after scoring the winning goal in the 43rd minute.
