KD 10,000 fine proposed for housing expat bachelors

KUWAIT: Kuwait Municipality committee yesterday discussed raising the financial penalty for allowing expatriate bachelors to live in the so-called model areas to up to KD 10,000. Committee members said that the number of expatriate singles has swelled to around 1.2 million, or around 35 percent of expatriate population.
