KUWAIT: The State Audit Bureau recently approved a tender on the Fifth Ring Road development project with a total cost of KD 110 million, inclusive of all works needed for the project, said official Ministry of Public Work sources.

All paper work and documents needed for the tender are being prepared pending signing its contract within the coming few days, the sources added.

The Fifth Ring Road serves around six areas that overlook it, and the project mainly aims at improving the services it provides. The project would increase the road’s lanes to four in addition to creating emergency and service lanes, as well as changing current intersections to free flow ones. —Al-Anbaa
