Brigadier Adel Al-Hashash

KUWAIT: Brigadier Adel Al-Hashash, General Director of the relations and security media Department at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) announced new licenses for domestic labor recruitment offices and companies are being issued. Hashash said the conditions to get the new licenses are available at MoI's website and include the following: Applicants must be Kuwaitis with good reputation, have not been previously sentenced for crimes or disgraceful offenses (unless they have been rehabilitated) and aged 30-70. Hashash also noted that applicants must be healthy without any disability. Individual applicants have to present a KD 40,000 letter of guarantee from a local bank, while companies should present a KD 100,000 letter of guarantee.

In other news, MoI Undersecretary Lt Gen Suleiman Al-Fahd yesterday received at his offices representatives of husseiniyas to thank them for cooperating with security forces on securing husseiniyas during the month of Muharram. The representatives thanked Fahd and MoI for the security forces' efforts. Also yesterday, MoI's relations and security media department said that the ministry's legal affairs department warned that voter lists circulating on social media networks over the past two days include incorrect figures.
