
As part of its social activities aimed at promoting Africa in Kuwait, the Frenzy Organization held its ‘African Talent Kuwait’ on the 12th August 2019 at Safir Hotel. The program featured football tournament (male and female), showcasing African culture and tradition, African beauty contest etc. There were 12 contestants representing 7 African countries in Kuwait. At the end of the fourth round, Kenya’s Brenda Bitok was declared Miss Africa in Kuwait, followed by Miss Cameroon (Akem Bethsheba) and Miss Sierra Leone (Mariatu Mahoi) respectively.
On the other hand, the Malawian team (Male) won the soccer tournament, seconded by the Sierra Leonean team. On the female soccer tournament, the Cameroonians team took the trophy after beating their Sierra Leonean counterparts in a thrilling game.
The event attracted lots of dignitaries including the Kenyan Ambassador in Kuwait Ali Abbas Ali, top diplomats and representatives from African embassies in Kuwait. In his closing remark, the president of Frenzy Organization Ahmed Dauda Bangura thanked all for gracing the occasion and urged Africans in Kuwait to be good ambassadors of the continent. Bangra also thanked Unomoni, Xpress Money and other for sponsoring the event.
