KFF launches state-of-art Munjed 2 boat

KUWAIT: Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) inaugurated Thursday Munjed 2 boat, equipped with state-of-the-art ship firefighting technologies, and navigation gadgets to aid in nautical search and rescue missions. The inauguration ceremony was sponsored by Prime Minister's First deputy and Interior Minister Sheikh Talal Khaled Al-Sabah who was represented in the ceremony by the fire force chief Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Mekrad, KFF added in statement.

The Canada-manufactured boat, is around 26 meters long and eight meters wide and comes as part of KFF's plan of developing its mechanisms and equipment, and bolstering its fleet. Attending the ceremony were several KFF and interior ministry officials. - KUNA
