KUWAIT: Under the sponsorship of Kuwait Finance House (KFH) and as part of its commitment towards the youth segment, KFH hailed Kuwait National Jet Ski Team at Kuwait airport in celebration of their win in the recently concluded Jet ski World Series 2022 held in Arizona, US along with other officials from Kuwait Sea Club and the Public Authority for Sport as well as a large crowd of citizens and family members of the winning team.

KFH's sponsorship, among other contributions, reflects full confidence in the young Kuwaiti competencies and in their ability to compete in international tournaments. The sponsorship also highlights KFH's keenness to support young Kuwaiti talents and major sports events that concern this segment and contribute to strengthening Kuwait's presence in the regional and global arenas.

Officials and members of Kuwait Sea Club commended KFH's constant support and the strategic partnership with the club. They also applauded KFH's keenness to welcome the players upon their return at the airport and celebrate their achievements, pointing out that KFH is the only entity in the banking sector to provide support and attention to the team every year, which truly makes KFH the closest and the most trusted Financial Institution among its customers.

Meanwhile, Kuwait National Jet Ski Team praised the continuous efforts and encouragement they have received directly from KFH during their participation in the championship, which was a major factor in their win and therefore in raising the standing of Kuwait globally.

It is worth noting that each year KFH sponsors the team`s participation in the Jet ski World Championship, as part of a broader and a more comprehensive social responsibility framework that focuses on sport initiatives and Kuwaiti athletes in order to motivate them to compete and represent Kuwait in different international activities, as well as maintain the team's accomplishments and encourage the players to win the highest ranks in individual and group competitions.

Kuwait Jet ski Team won a gold, a bronze and three silver medals during their participation in the last round of the Jet ski World Series 2022 held in Arizona, US Contestant Mohammad Al-Baz won first place in the Pro Runabout Grand Prix category, while his teammate Mohammad Burbayea ranked second and won the silver medal in the same category.

Meanwhile, Rashed Al-Rashed secured second place in the Runabout category, also winning a silver medal in the Amateur Runabout category, while Salem Al-Muttawa clinched the bronze medal in the Pro-Am Ski Superstock category. The team will be participating in the third and final round of the series, which will be held next December in the Thai city of Pattaya.
