KFSD denies receiving collapse report

KUWAIT: Firemen did not receive any call with regards to an incident of a man falling into a road collapse created by rain as claimed in a video clip on social media, Kuwait Fire Services Directorate (KFSD) said in a statement yesterday, adding that it did not deal with any such incident.

Separately, the traffic department will auction several vehicles placed under impoundment at Kuwait Gulf Link garage in Jahra. The department had announced the auction back on Aug 26 and asked owners to refer to the auction committee. The sale will be on Wednesday, Oct 30 at 4 pm. Those desiring to participate can inspect the vehicles a day earlier.
