Kharafi wins fifth round of KEF league

KUWAIT: Kuwait Riding Center's international rider Ali Jasim Al-Kharafi continued his outstanding performance and won the fifth round of Kuwait Equestrian Federation (KEF) league following strong challenge by other riders on Friday and Saturday. Kharafi completed his run at the height of 140cm without faults in 38.13 seconds, defeating Antonio and Al-Fuzaie.

Kharafi - last year's champion - maintained his lead of the league. Ali Al-Kharafi also won in the 130cm height, defeating Anaz Al-Anaz, Ghazi Al-Jraiwi, Abdullah Al-Awadhi and Fawaz Al-Subaie. KEF Secretary Nabila Al-Ali said competition is very tough in the league's rounds and all riders are doing their best in competing for top places.
